I always read on here that people find old corgi minis and old matchbox cars. Where is the best places to find these I have been looking around for a while now and haven't been able to find any?

Where can I find some mini clubman models I haven't been able to find any also?

Any ideas on were i can find some of these would be great help

thank you

The best place I know is in sports850 spare room or under his bed,for the really good ones. and don't ask me how I know what's under his bed!

Most of the good ones end up on ebay these days. If you find one in a market or shop it is a very good day! There are a few mokes around and not many clubmans. Spark have a nice yellow clubman out at the moment and a red GT. Have a look at the collections on display in the mini minis section. Oh, and it is addictive so be careful. Cheers.

Dinky made a moke that came in olive drab , metalic green and also on a pallet with a parachute as the para-moke . They also released an orange one with a giraffe with his head through the roof (Tiny's moke) and a white one with a striped roof from the prisoner tv series . These turn up at 2nd hand shops etc or junk shops for $10 from time to time but most likely from model shops from $40 or so or on ebay for more when people decide they are super rare and get into bidding wars . Mattel released two colours of Barbie mokes in the late 80's (but not named as a moke , it was a summer buggy or similar and only in the US and Canada) , there were various Hong Kong plastic mokes with guns/searchlights/missiles on the back and also a semi trailer with 6 or so plastic mokes on it . Also I have a timber (craftwood) moke kit in my collection of Tiny's moke . Vitesse has also released half a dozen or so mokes in recent years but they are all based on a Cagiva moke with a storage box built in behind the rear seat (despite one being a blue Californian with NSW number plates) . Model planning also released some in 1/130 scale but are also a Cagiva moke .

There are various photo's of dinky , vitesse , barbie and the wooden one in my "warning about collecting mini models" thread .

sorry I haven't got any photos of Dinky mokes, I have a few but none of them are
worthy of photographing.
There is also the one that came out last year with a magazine for James Bond

You've got my permission if you want to add the woodcraft and Barbie moke photo's to that . I'll see if I can find the proper name for the Barbie one but I found that one by searching ebay US and Canada for Barbie Jeep  the proper name ones go for a fortune but occasionally one slips through as a jeep

I took some photos of my Dinky Mokes

First one is Prisoner Moke
Image

Late model Parachute Moke, with plastic wheels

Early unknown moke with metal wheels
Image

Another early unknown moke with different wheels, look a bit like hubcaps
Image

Another unknown moke but lighter metallic paint

There is a web site where you can but spare parts for these mokes, I'll have to find it
if anyone is interested, he advertises on UK ebay. I have got the parts to fix some of the other ones I have but I have to drill out the rivet under the bonnet.

Tiny's moke

And yes all the bonnets don't shut, I guess it was to hard to make rubber bonnet straps
