These are cool, i'm building my third one ATM since they come up last time, so far i have made a white van and the monte carlo one, i thought the monte was fiddly but its not as tricky as the pickup that i'm doing now.

My pickup will be a hybrid, the wheels, flares and spotlights from the monte will be going on it 8)

I find a very sharp stanley knife good for cutting around the little glue tabs, but use sharp scissors for the straight lines and parts like wipers, seams, wheel centres.
Aquadhere applied with a toothpick is like contact adhesive, gently press the parts together for 10 seconds and they will stay.

After approx. 2hours of cutting I was done with my pick-up project, the remains must be somewhere.. might continue on it one day.

Like most specialist mechanics i'd say upwards of $80/hour?
