Has anyone else had hi beam issues with their cooper?.....For some reason mine wont turn on, I know they work because if I pull the stick forward they will flash people, but they wont push forward i.e stay on without me holding the stick, I'm assuming something is wrong with the stalk thingie :(

Hmmm you cant push the stalk forward.

To flash you just gently pull it toward you.

To leave hi beam on pull it a bit further toward you than you would to flash and you will feel it switch on. There is quite a bit of travel in the stalk. If you are pulling it toward you as far as it will go and nothing is happening, its broken.

Otherwise, how you enjoying it?

If your switch only works on Low beam yes it has a broken contact. Still....... Do not throw the switch away as you can still use it but you will have to wire up a change over relay to do the change over from Hi to low... This is done by If you reply to me I will send you an email with a drawing attached. I have done this on Many cars .
