Post subject:  Rear Wheel alignment

Are rear wheel alignments able to be done on mini rear suspension. Have a 05 cooper S that is is scrubbing the inside of the left rear tyre. has been to bob janefor a full 4 wheel alignment but have noticed it is still scrubbing. i looked under rear of car and it looks like there is no adjustment. did they charge me for looking and done nothing or can adjustments be done? Any one out there who know more about the rear suspension?

i think they do have adjustable rear on them.
You wont know any difference because it takes a tire a while to wear down,
if you get new tires and get the wheel alignment done it is a much better chance it will probabbly work the first time and hopefully you wont have to go back and get it fixed up again

No.... not adjustable from factory.... if it is scrubbing then it will always until you buy the aftermarket adjustable arms.

Front is the same.. only the toe in/out can be adjusted, everything else can't....

I was told by the BMW dealership that they are made by BMW and don't need adjusting... perfect from the factory.

Freinds MINI pulls really badly to the left..... " Must have hit a gutter or something" ....As if!!

Adjustable is the way to go... will cost you though

Ps Don't forget to thank BJ for taking your money and "forgetting" to tell you that it isn't adjustable!

Thanks,
was told by the dealer the car came from new that the rear was at the end of its 'adjustment'. I stuck my head underneath and could not see any way of adjusting it. I called another mini dealer to be also told that they can be adjusted. Our mini did hit a kerb so we have a problem.
happy driving.
