Buy a honda jazz or one of those really tiny Diahatsu's (that look alot like a modern mini if you ask me... more so than the Bini does, esp in the size department)

[EDIT] Sirion that's it... don't you guys think it looks like a Mini??? just a little bit?

Even a Swift conversion into a mini will mean BIG BUCKS and usually are attempted by people who know at least alittle about what they are talking about to be able to do some or most of it themselves to save money...

i always thought the sirion looked a bit like the mini, my friend has a GTVi, 1.3L, 77 Kw stock. goes quite well.

I then saw this daihatsu, its a mira gino, now this resembles a mini!

as for the swift conversion, of course its going to take a lot of money (or a lot of skill) to pull off, but when you start looking at buying SPI and MPI minis its not that unrealistic. While i've seen some for sale at decent prices most are pretty expensive. Im not saying its the best way of going about it, but its deifnitely an option..

the best idea of course is to learn about them and fix em yourself, like many people have said, its a great experience in itself...

hi

now im only thirteen so u probably wont take me seriously, but if you want mini performance go for a set of twin s.u carbs. they work wonders on my orange 1100! and with the gearbox, as someone has already said, why have a mini? its these little things are what makes them what they are!

cheers

sean
