haaaaa ha ha... thats dumb...

now... for a serious question. I have also picked up a webber (lot nicer than that one and only cheap..!) but have a question. See pics at the end of this page

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/680606

I have 3 inlet pipes currently (first pic) but the webber only has two inlet pipes. What happens with the third (blue arrow in the first pic)

 I am sure that there is something I am missing...

Ah OK I think you mean what happens to the exhaust manifold, which is combined with your inlet one.
Yo get a hacksaw or angle grinder and cut the inlet off the exhaust. :P Save the exhaust part.

OR, put it on the shelf, then go buy a freeflow or LCB manifold (headers) & exhaust system, which is what most peiople do.

when you say headers... thats extractors yes..?

Which would be done first, extractors, then the webber, or webber then the extractors. I am getting both done.

You will save on gaskets if you do both at the same time. The problem is your current manifold is one piece, meaning that the inlet and exhaust are joined. Hence, to fit the weber and keep your current exhaust, you have to cut the original manifold, and if you want to keep your carb and change your exhaust you would also have to cut the original manifold. It is much easier to fit the extractors at the same time as the weber, then you don't have to cut anything!

OK... so before I waste my money...

If I take the webber to a place with my extractors then can they do all this in one hit?

The exhaust is then just an extension of the extractors isnt it..??

Yes you'll want to do it in one hit, I'm sure an exhaust shop would bolt the weber on, but I wouldn't expect them to do more than that, you'll have to take it elsewhere to tune it (assuming it drives okay with the weber on before tuning you never know).

Yes, exhaust is just an extension of the extractors, however if you still have the stock exhaust system you'll want to upgrade it, since the extractors will likely have a larger pipe size than your current system, and the OEM mufflers aren't very good, you'd be better off with a straight through muffler (which don't cost much).

Anto.
