Nah, the NZ folks only have Mini Mitro not Mini Metro :D

Actually, have seen some stuff over there, but I got really really good deals from UK.

Not much the same apart from engine and box... you could say the same about a Morris 1100. 8)

But a Morris 1100 never had a "Mini" badge unlike the Mini Metro.

The single SU as fitted to the Metro turbo would provide plenty of power

Well I was thinking that the turbo metro was a low boost (~7psi) 1275 so I was wondering if a high boost (>12psi) 1275 would get more performance from twins.
I would assume that the benefits of running twins on a naturally aspirated car would also stay true for a forced induction motor, if not more important due to the higher density of charge running through.
Thoughts anyone?

I would say with twins and a turbo you will have 2x the complexity, and 4x the problems.
You can pretty easily get 170HP or more at the crank with a single HIF6.

There would be some benefits 'maybe' but a single HIF44 Turbo carby can handle everything we need.
You can get 200hp (like the guys in the UK) so I wouldnt bother with a twin setup.

By the way, was at Bens today - looking at how darn close things will be... will be a VERY tight squeeze in there VERY tight.

More info soon :-)

Peter.

There's no bending - from what i can see it's all proper steam pipe welded like most turbo manifolds ;)

Awesome work there ben - i'll have to hit you up for a kit too ;) :P
