Mine are 25mm x 10mm thick and work great. Thicker is better. :wink:

We have 10000 gauss magnets at work - they'd pull your filings out if you got too close :lol:

I get them out of dead hard drives. Most larger drives have two decent sized magnets in them. Very handy for sticking things to the dash when you don't want to drill holes too.

Or You could use one of these filtermags, ive seen them on large industrial diesel engines, they work pretty good :wink: http://www.filtermag.net.au/index.html
