I wouldn't want to be out in the rain though, they spin when i just take off!

In the wet and you get wheelspin all the way thru second gear is when you know the tires arent the best.
Falkens are really crap in the wet.
Theyre not toooo bad in the dry, but not the best.
They HAVE lasted me for ages tho, which is easier on the back pocket.

A few years back I took mine to Wakefield Pk on Falken 165/70-10s, and handling wasn't real flash on the limit.
So.... I whacked some old Dunlop LeMans on the front. These were not bad for grip. Turn-in was then great with the Falkens on the back, but when they let go...
After a few spins at Wakefield that scared me, I went and bought Yoko A008s. Fronts are now barely legal after 15,000 miles, but hey, they do still grip well. I've got a spare set of newies to go on soon.

i have a set of falkens on bricktop and they spin like crazy under full acceleration.... Can be quite fun if your in the mood on slightly slippery roads....
But you do have to remember that they wont grip if you get into the shitty side of sliding round....

i will be getting some yoko's as soon as i rip all the tread off! :D

Cooking it up one time around the roundabouts on East Tce at Henley Beach is quite fun.
Trying to outrun a slow as piss farked old 998 that is greatly losing behind you.
:) Good fun.
Yeah i'd go Yokohama's for the next set... i need something grippier.

Question: Do yokies "scream" like the Falkens do when hooning around a corner?

i exchanged the pump today as I was informed by my builder that it wont be sufficient to use it.... he also said that he has a pair or turbo floats for the weber and that I can have them in my build so I wont need to get a turbo SU i hope....
