I rang the guy selling the BMW mini supercharger kit for a classic mini on ebay the other week and he ran me through the kit and what is involved. Basically the supercharger is unmodified, the face of the crank pulley is machined to allow a v-belt pulley to be bolted on the front of the pulley, a manifold is made along with a pipe to connect the carb to the supercharger, and there is a internal mod done to the hif44 su carb. The owner of the kit told me he has had no problems with it and was only selling it to make way for a G13B suzuki motor. He also told me the guys at jonspeed in the uk are the people to talk to and are very helpful. I am now in the middle of tracking down a supercharger and hif44 for my conversion as this is the road I want to do down. I'll keep everyone posted on the conversion in the car build thread when I get back to the project at the end of next month, writing up my thesis for uni so no time to work on the mini.
