Maybe for a very short time, but NO they definitely are not. Many have been returned.

The problem ones seem to be the "Belgium" ones

All my good ones past, in use and spare are made in UK ones.
Never had a bad 1275 head gasket since I stopped using those copper things... :P :mrgreen:

They are / were all packaged in Belguim but actually made in many different factories all over the world.

There is a whole series of 'BKxxx' Gaskets for a lot of different cars. I mentioned the trouble with the BK450 to our Engine Machinist. He tells me that until about 15 months ago, the BK range were OK but now every one fails the same way - in the firing rings and they all leak coolant.

Copper rules eh?
