As I mentioned above, in NZ some tyre sticking out is just fine, as long as the tread is covered. I would think 10-12mm would be all smooth sidewall? The wheels being asked about are even more + offset, so should be more tucked under.

Hmmm all things to consider... I doubt i'll need anything like Miglia flares, but the thought is nice, especially Curley carbon ones :P

Going down for a trial fit with just a rim on the car, no tyre, dropped on a block of wood, and i'll be able to work out roughly where they'll sit with an extra 10mm or so in width from the tires.

Has anybody fitted 155/70/12's to a mini before? Pretty much the only tire I can get that's readily available.
