Im thinking of selling my sc12 kit and charger if anyone is interested. You'd need to source the lower pulley, upper engine steady and hif44 as im leaving them on but the rest is there.

You will most probably need a mod plate, so yes.

Hey Guys,
Picked up a rebuilt SC12 on Friday which will be going on my 1275LS engine.
What are some recommendations for compression ratio etc?
My plans are currently:
1293 GR pistons
Wade 240 cam
Modified head to suit sc12
Standard crank and rods
Straight cut gear box and x pin diff
I'm wanting to run about 8 psi and be putting out something a bit over the 100hp mark.
Any help is appreciated as I'm new to building engines and need all the help I can get.

Cheers, Rhys

Do you have any details on the rebuilt sc12? As to what was rebuilt/replaced? Asking because as far as i am aware parts aren't available.

As for the engine, I'm building mine at 9:1 comp ratio which i think is on the high side of things. When i say 9:1 though i mean i have accurately measured everything. I have megajolt working so i can set the advance curve easily.

For my engine i left the pistons standard height, just 1 head gasket but i made 30cc chambers in the head, so you will need to decide which way you go to get the cc's

And the big question, what do you want to do with the car?Road or race? I would use a standard box with a lsd over straight cut regardless.

Most proably 7.5" disc brakes, but to be sure contact a local engineer they will be able to fill you in on all the finer details.

Regardless of legal reasons, it would be a very good idea to upgrade brakes

If Ben makes a sprintex version is that manifold compatible with the Easton M45 because you can pick them up cheap. Or is it more economical to stick with SC12 if you can't stretch to sprintex?
