designer, I have removed your post and the couple of posts that followed it.

You have already had a go at Matt in another thread (which has been removed already) and this post was much of the same. If you are going to keep posting the same thing, please refrain from it, we don't need to read the same thing again and again and again.

If I see more of the same thing again (which, as has already been proven, gets other members off side and burred up) I will flat out delete your post and give you no warning.

I saw your post before anyone had replied to it at all - but I left it and came back and saw other member's responses, and, gauging from those responses I removed those few posts.

OK , this has gone on long enough , it may be censorship designer , I am censoring your ability to continue holding a grudge publicly here .

As nearly everyone realises this is a conversion kit using a non standard , non mini head , not a straight bolt on replacement head like the Elder crossflow head . People realise it's a relatively new conversion in the mini scene and are acting accordingly . You can either import a fully converted one from the UK (especially taking the dollar's value into account ) or you can use a locally made kit with all the hard stuff ready made , or you can make your own pulley's , face plate and other stuff . If you want ready made instant fit buy off the shelves then either get an elder head (or similar) or drive a Honda .

Just leave your grudge at the door and talk about mini's .

EDIT ,
I've cleaned out the thread a bit more now , everybody please behave .

I was talking about minis - not having a go at matt , just trying to warn members of true cost, potential complications... of kit .......

As God has already said, everyone knows that $1250 is not the full outlay of this kit. The only person that seems to be having problems with the pricing is YOU.

TBH, I give the members that want to attempt this conversion ALOT more credit than what you are giving them. Stop thinking the members of this site are feeble minded fools that can't ring around and get quotes for heads / machine work etc themselves. I, for one, believe that the members of this site are cabable of making their own descions without being told what to do by some random with less than 50 posts.

Ironic that you are saying that isn't it?

Don't you think readers should decide for themselves ?Who the hell are you to make that decision on their behalf ?

So now the mods are telling people how to modify people's mini's? It is the individual's choice whether they are going to put non standard parts on their car or not, not yours (cause it doesn't seem like you are going to be buying one), mine or the mods.

Mate, if you are as pissed off as you seem there are PLENTY of other internet forums that you could frequent instead of this one, no one is making you stay.

Give this topic a rest - can't you see that no one else agree's with you?
