Hey doc i think you've read my thread... i'm putting a 1275 in my clubby will the HS6 with the GR manifold fit without any surgery??

It depends on the car. Not all bodies are the same, exactly- relative to the motor.
Some do clear, some don't, but with an HS6 a VBFH should give you clearance on a late body (see my last pics). I've not hit it with the 14 pounder yet, but I will. 8) I'm using a Ramflo filter with Unifilter foam.
On early Clubbies with the `speedo hole', it should just about miss.
Of course if fitting a bigarse filter in there, you might like to cut the firewall a bit and box it for clearance.

Note- this GR7" manifold was designed for HS6, NOT for the taller HIF44 carbs, which is why they give firewall grief when fitted.
