Hi team , looking for some advise/tricks on fitment of sliding window doors on a Mini K shell , I am using correct seals obtained from Karcraft , but can't get the dam things to close correctly . No issue when I remove seals , with equal clearance between shell and doors , well as close as I could get it Thanks in advance Cheers Mal |

Have a look at this long thread on door seals. In the link below I've fast-forwarded to the current area of interest which is remaking the original style. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=84464&start=75#p1068458 |

The area around the lock mechanism on the B pillar is slightly different for sliding versus wind-up windows doors. Someone with knowledge may be able to comment. |

I brought 850 door seals in from UK and tried to use them on my 1970 matic, same shell as a K. Had a 3mm gap from door to body. Oz windup door rubbers are wider and fitted properly. You need proper 850 ones. |
