I'm just wondering, where would be the best place in Toowoomba to get some head mods done, I'd rather take it to someone who knew what they were doing than picking a random out of the phone book. Any recommendations?

Cheers.

The person to talk to out that way (he's somewhere there anyway , can't remember where) is Matt (TheMiniMan on here) , if he can't do what you're after he can point you in the direction of someone who can .

Thanks for that, I think the track he goes push bike riding at in toowoomba is about 100m from my house! I'll have to have a chat to him.

I think i may have just spent my tax return.

Send it to GR!

Really, the freight to sydney is about the same as the freight to Brisbane, and you will be VERY happy with his work. Seriously, call him, and then send it to him.

Nobody local I would recommend. Go GR!!

(02) 9630 2195

Cheers
Matt

I`ll be riding the Down Hill track at Toowoomba next weekend (19th Aug) so if you`d like to call me before hand (0407 135 656) i can meet with you up there easy enough,,, No freight costs at all then ,,,as i`ll be back up there racing the State championships 2 weeks later (9th & 10th of sept) & could drop it off all new & lovely :-)

easy-peasy & thanks for all the recomendations guys, & yes, i give good head :-)

Cheers Matt,

How could I go wrong with 2 out of 3 people recommending you? I'll give you a call after I get some money which should be soon! Being a student I don't have alot of folding stuff lying around. (In case anybody is wondering I'm not looking for sympathy!)

He's at Tenterfield Mick , other side of the border , a couple or three hours from Toowoomba I'd guess . He'd be another worth talking to about performance mini heads though , Matt may know a lot about the workings of performance mini's but Ron's been doing them longer . Take your pick but Matt would be closer , but if you're in Tenterfield go for a sticky in Ron's shed and also the Hillier boy's across the car park , they convert hearses for a living and do wild Falcons for fun ....

I know what you mean , we've got a monumental list like that . When you do get there though , Have a look at Ron's shed but also check out the Hilliers , mini people from way back including a partial alloy bodied twini mini ....

Hilliers burnt to the ground a few months back, but I hear it is mostly rebuilt now.

Yep Ron is also very good.

Not sure what they lost, there was a report on it in the june issue of the mini owners club mag (QLD).

The heat from the fire apparantly caused some damage to Ron Williams place too, but only minor from what I heard.
