Post subject:  turbocharging / 8 port head
I was wondering if anybody knew if anyone had attempted to turbo charge an A+ engine with an 8 port head instead of the usual 5 porter... perhaps even using a twin cam head?

Would it even be possible??

:-) A series mini motor with twin cam 16v motor bike cyl head & T03 turbo & full sequential engine management system, keep an eye out for it, not long now :-)

matt i love the fast back.
got any more photos as this woudl be the 2nd ultimate mini to me. the ultimate on the race track is a meguire.
Is it original or did you make it all yourself.

Looks great , love the intercooler shaped to imitate the grille . What bike is the head off ? I've seen shot's of a mini using a BMW head but thought it was different ?

Jai,,,my dad had the original Monaco & i got it off him , then took a mould off it, modified it a little & that`s the one you see here, the original will be restored one day (along with the 3 stn wagons, one woody wagon , 2 1275 LSs , one 63 mod Cooper & 3 cooper "S"s, along with a bundle of other cars like the 48 packard, a few daimlers, an old Humber etc etc etc)

& sports 850,,,yeah it`s the BMW motorbike head, i`m building up enough for 10x conversion kits to be for sale once mine has been tested @180hp for long enough

Thank's , the other one I read of said they were a good strong head , other one was naturally aspirated though and took a fair bit of work to fit , your kits sound like a great idea . Good luck , I'll be watching with interest to see the progress .
