Decided today to install the rod change quick shift l purchased about 6 months ago. Installation went ok except l cannot engage reverse. When trying to engage reverse the lever becomes loose like it has come out of the rod change coupling. All other gears are working fine. Any Ideas ? |

most of the quickshifts are built in the uk, the uk rod change box has a thinner casing so when people try to fit the quick shift to an aussie car they cannot select gears at times, although this might not be your problem, it may help to grind a bit of the inside of the quick shift bell out..??.. |

Is a quick shift even worth The money on a old gear box? I think it would be after A recon on a tyred Box but Not a Old gear Box? How Much travel does It Lose After installation. Is It Worth the Moneys? |

A bit off topic but i recently installed the KAD remote quickshift and it is EXCELLENT. Had to fine tune how to space the bolt that acts as a guide, after that was done, all sweet. Cheers Matt |
