as title suggests, is that possible so the seat moves back further? if not how do all you tall mini owners cope?

im now 6'7" and i run on the "normal" seat rails, just i set them back as far as they go (the third hole)... although when im in the passenger side and am sitting upright passers by can see my knees about the window sill  ... just ask Betty...
i would be keen to find out how to get the longer rails too 8)

my parents had the same attitude at first  but once they saw my sitting in one they knew i had enough room (....mind you this was when i was 15... and only 6'4")..

BUT, i am still interested in knowing how to get longer rails. would it just be a case of making new ones with the longer arms? would these then be too "flimsy"?

Either buy a set of these, or maybe make some that will allow you to move the seat even further back, this technology should be possible even at home.

If you move the seat back further, i'm pretty sure you will have to 'modify' the storage compartment in the back....

I've also wondered about this. I'm only 6'1 same with the old man we've adjusted the seat to the last notch which has helped. Only thing I have to change now is the steering wheel. It's like a bus wheel.

I fitted a pair of MX-5 seats into a clubby,
using the longer mazda rails welded on top of the clubby "retaining bar"

Heaps of travel, plus tilt/reclining/lumbar adjustment 8)

Can post pics if anyone is interested...
