Post subject:  front drums on clubby

i installed all new slave cylinders and pads on my 75 clubby recently but on the front left drum there is no springs holding the shoes together i asked another person with a clubby and they said theres didnt have any on the left either
it might be a bit stupid but... yeh where there supposed to be springs on the left side
it pulls to the left and i think this might be why
any help would be good cause i cant drive my car until im sure
if there was supposed too be springs holding it does any one have any?

Yes there are 2 main springs on each side, and a spring thingy attaching each shoe to the pistons.

Those 2 big springs not only contract the shoes after use... they ensure the shoes are held square against the backplate.
It is dangerous to run without them- the shoes will rub on the drum all the time and overheat. They will also tend to wear crooked.
