Post subject:  Sparco seat into mini fitting

Recently bought a Sparco Pro 2000 carbon fibre seat, i want to fit it into one of my mini's, It's a side mount type, has anybody put on in their mini? if not does anybody have a plan of pics of one fitted, looks like a time consuming process to make up a mount for one. Any help please.

See what i did with the bottom mount one on Saturday and you will be glad its a side mount one. All you need is the right size aluminium angle, a drill, bolts and some 3mm plate to reinforce the floor underneath.

michael

ps don't forget the wheel nut!

a what fibre seat?
1. does it make the car feel lighter?
2. does it have padding?
3. not meaning to be rude, but why?

carbon fibre...it combines some plastic base and finely woven carbon based material or i think it is actualy carbon itself (carbon fibres  )

extra light, extra strong and extra $$$$$$

the carbon fibres are graphite fibres woven and then embedded in resin epoxy
very light weight from the airy graphite fibres whilst maintaining the strong covalent bond within carbon atoms (eg diamond)
i was just being over hysterical :)

wow doogie
i didnt know it could be so light, be so pricey, be so safe, be so comfy

carbon fibre??? dude, if ur competing in motorsport u dont need to have carbon fibre seat...if the car is for competing only then u just strip it for dear life nad only put back in what u need. a good race seat will do fine when u dont have all the inneccessaties:?(hows that spelt?).......

Hey leave him alone
After he removes the "unecessary bits" (correct spelling  ) and THEN throws in a carbon fibre seat, he's ahead of the guy who has thrown out the unecessary bits and HASNT got the carbon fibre seat.

sheeeesh
