I was looking into bodykit's for the mini and ran into these?

http://www.lambodoors.co.uk/

these UK guys have done a kit for the Rover mini's just a bit of FYI. looks like some hardcore cuttin and shuttin though just read a bit if it :? :?

cool look though

have a look here to see a mini with a cool bodykit.... ever thought of 13x 10 rim's now's your chance ( you have to click on the mini to get more info)

thanks,

for all you people who want them this kit is for the later internally hinged doors. they have no quarter windows like all AUST mini's and the doors are completey different. maybe not an easy conversion and not for an Aussie delivered mini

I've seen the ad for these in one of the mini mags. They say they involve a lot of engineering prowess. As they say" it is an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10 to install these"

they look bloody great though... can you imagine watching the jaw drop at a safewayt when you pull up and get out of your car, let alone in front of other miniphiles.

would be worth the 11 out of 10 (onless you hit your head or got stuck )

HEHE

imagine if they could be fitted to aussie doors.......the amount of crap that would fall out of my doors.... i'd actually rather get suicide doors...but then again i'd rather have standard doors. that body kit is rude...its so bad its great.
that kit, with that multi colored paint and some 13x7 chrome superlite spinners would win the "worst mini ever" in my books =)

True... you fabricate a bolt on suicide door kit and i'll buy it. ;)

Personally i hate everything about that kit pictured above, it's ugly obnoxious looking and totally kills all of the mini's strengths (lightweight, cute looking, nimble, etc).

....and the award for the "ugliest mini bodykit ever" goes to..........

P-plate Honda owners should stay away from minis. Seriously.

Who said it was easy... but it would have to be a lot easier than just about any other car i can think of... the doors are such a simple design.

Except the B-pillar isn't really a structural point and would need ALOT of re-inforcing to hold a door..

It all depends on what sort of hinge you were going to use.. Keeping in mind that the standard mini hinges just bolt stright onto the body....

:D :D
