i did this not long ago:
WINDSCREEN
1) find out which rubber is for the front and which is for the back.
2) spread whichever sealant you are using into the "car" side of the seal.
3) fit the rubber in the appropriate place without the window in place yet
4)make sure the windscreen is *CLEAN*
5) put the sealant on the "window" side now
6) start by fitting the bottom corners are bottom edge in as far as they can go into the rubber
7) get a screwdriver (flat) and some 3M 'paddtape' (you can get it from woolies)
8 ) fold over some 3M tape over both sides of the screwdriver head, to pad it to reduce the risk of chipping the screen
9) wedge the windscreen in an alternating pattern. ie do 5cms on the left, 5cms on the right, until it is in on both sides as far as it will go
10) onto the top; start from the outsides in, in the same alternating pattern.
11)when this is done push around the edges of the screen GENTLY to make sure it is in place properly before fitting the locking strip
LOCKING STRIP
step 1) get the proper tool, it is a poofter to do otherwise
2)get a bucket of soapy water (dishwashing liquid is fine)
3) start in the bottom centre position
4)saturate the area you're doing/ about to do
5)ease it into the appropriate slot until it is completely fitted... dont stress if it pops out... just means you have to do it again
