Can anyone tell me how much a set of MB Racing rims, like the english miglias use, would set me back. Or some spectrm alloys like in mini magazine. I checked the miglia website but they got none.

Thanks for your help.

When something is bult to that standard, and used for lightweight racing purposes, you would expect it to cost an arm and a leg.

Might pay so save a bit more for some good quality lock-nuts too.

the people who can afford them don't ask how much they are, cos they don't care..
cos they have "sponsors"

when people go to buy a car the dont just sign a blank check and say "i want that red one in the corner" even if they can afford it.
also if u went to coles and there was no prices on anything would u shop there? even though u could afford the products i bet u'd wanna know how much ur paying, or they could be selling condoms for $50! then what would u do?

therefor people who can afford things can ask how much they are...

I dont have sponsors.
I can afford them
I didnt know how much they cost before this thread started
I am no longer interested in buying/owning a set.... due to the price comparison.

Yes, the Miglia racers have sponsors, but they also have rules regarding wheel fitment to enter the category....

No it's just a dumb thing to say because generally when people say comments like: "if you don't know you arn't good enough to do it" or something along those lines. It's because that person doesn't know themselves. But to try and sound smart they pass the original question off with that remark trying to act as though they know (which they obviously don't otherwise they would have answered the question).

Not trying to have a go at you spaceboy, I'm just bitching. :D

as expensive as the MB rims are the cost it not the biggest hurdle you have to overcome before actually having them in your hands,
apparently its the wait, you'll be looking at a minimum 20 wks if he agrees to supply, after paying a chunk in deposit,
this i know for fact as some uk miglia drivers have contacted me regarding me supplying my wheels, basically they need someone who can deliver when they are needed and not when the supplier can be bothered,
also i heard a rumor the price of Mbs are on the up!!, just a rumor though so may not be true,

If you want it badly enough, price is nothing. $2500 for split lightweight rims is good value I think.
