Post subject:  Charcoal Canister Connections

Hi all

I have got myself a charcoal canister with two small tubes and one half inch tube on the top. ( To suit 81 Californian moke)
I am advised that one small tube connects to a fuel return line off the fuel tank,
one small tube to the inlet on the side of the carby (HS6)
My quandry is does the rocker hose or the timing cover oil seperator hose connect to the half inch tube on the canister or should there be a T piece and both get connected?

im pretty sure that its the timing cover vent that goes to the cannister as if you plumb the rocker cover vent it will fill the canister with oil. Unless you have a oil seperator plumbed inline. There has been some discussion on ausmini about breathers before, only recently.
Do a search for breathers, it should come up. it was only a couple of weeks ago.

In pic below one small tube goes to fuel tank breather, centre hose goes to rocker cover (as you can see), the other I have just blocked as it goes nowhere that I can find.
