Am new to forum so hope you guys can help. I have a MK1 Cooper S. Not genuine, just the front end and Cooper running gear on a Clubman shell so I'm not planning on chopping up an original. I am looking at getting a Zeemax body kit for it, fell in love the first time I saw them. I've read a previous forom on the body kits but like someone mentioned, I'm also not fond of the way the grill looks with the kit. Can you, and if so is it easy to, change the grill to look like later models where it tucks in on the bottom corners and has the full surround?

The grilles found on roundies are all interchangable, so won't be a problem.
:D

This is like deja vu with a grille question, and then harley making a "all roundies are the same" comment. :)

See the following link for some more detail on your question, and feel free to do a search on "Rover+Grille" 8)

all that needs changing is the bonnet really, as it needs the lip on it. the zeemax kits are built around the later model minis, thats why they look better with the late model grilles

You dont even need the bonnet.
The lip only holds water and rusts anyway!
(different hinge positions too, fyi)

Meeni, are you my long lost Australian sibling? We both have exquisite taste in colour and we both love our welders.
What welder do you run?
I have an old small MIG, Miller Synchrowave 200 and the Hypertherm PM380.
