The first thing you should do is swap doors with me! I have a pair of clubbie doors with the pockets removed and I want doors with pockets. |

Try using a drill to drill through the spotwelds half way and then using a chisel (for metal) to hammer it off. On my van I used this method and I had a clean result |

Yeh, easy peasy, just drill the spotwelds away and you good to seperate the metal. I've done it to one of my doors, but I think i'm gonna try and get different doors, mine has already been welded up once before (front corner where the window trim thingy start to go over the wind and back down) and its broke again. |

hey, i made my door trims will put pictures up when i fix the rust behind the drivers door hinge's! ![]() ![]() ![]() they look awsum! im also in the middle of making custom door speaker pods, i had some trouble locating the spot welds????? ![]() ![]() and the metal chisel just riped a hole in the door....not noticale though!, so the next best thing was to have some fun with a 100mm angle grinder, got it off nice and quickly with a clean finish! cheers lads, blake |
