 Post subject: ground clearance

I was reading the manual and it says the ground clearance should be around 6 ins Ive got about 4 it looks cool but F#&K its low what do I do to get the height back up to spec?

If it's still hydro suspension, you get it pumped up by someone with a hydro pump.
I've got one- but Can-Bra is a bit far to go, check out your local Mini club. :wink:

and if it not hydro. replace the rubber thingos or install adjustable cones, or both. right doc.?

Translation: If you have dry suspension try replacing the rubber cones or install Hi-Lo's (or similar) or both. Your cones might be fine (I doubt it unless you have replaced them recently) and some one has cut down the trumpets thus lowering the car.

It's a hydro Doc. The displacers seem ok. A pump up might do the trick you think?

Yes...it could do...unless the front trumpets have punched through there cups/mountings...the club has a pump as does Melba Mtrs.
