Hello,

I have a roundnose mini (MK1 /1965) that i am doing a full rebuild on.It has a 1275 cooper s mk1 block and a remote change gearbox from a standard mini (4 synchro).

I am looking at doing the twin ca conversion but using Yamaha R1 carburretors instead of uel injection and have heard that if I do this the bonnet will need to be modified as the carbs will be too long for the standard bonnet.
Is this correct ?
