know of a place in brisbane where they make new motors for minis ?? and does anyone no if they make them the same specs as old ??

and also has nyone supercharged a 998 before ?? and is it possible ??

Here is a link of a Supercharged 998. It has been done many times before, it is nothing new.

As for rebuilding motors - your best bet in the brissy area is Mad Matt (Matt Read a.k.a. TheMiniMan on here) and he can rebuild your motor for you - best to tell him what kind of specs you want.

My brother bought two about 5 yrs ago - both now moved on.

problem with new ones is you've gotta go injected, no distributor hole...

New mini motors are gone ,,, you`d be lucky to find one for sale anymore & by that i mean "Complete" power units that we used to sell years ago

They were absolutely complete & ready to bolt in & run brand new power units from the Leyland factory

I can fully overhaul & make "Like new" your power unit for you, however you would need to ring me before you come over , arrange a suitable time to then discuss your needs/wants
