G'day, I'm wanting to know were there is a reputable Place to Go to get my A+Gearbox built? Im building a A+ Metro turbo For my 74 Clubbie I have bought a set on staight cut syncro's, Tran X diff, and Straight Cut drop gears, I was going to do it my self as i am a mechanic, However you can appreciate the $$$$$ i have spend on harware, hence i dont want to stuff it up.. Can people please recemend somewher that specialises in building them?? What about Mini King, Or MiniCar Clinic??? Cheers, |

I'd say any of the Mini places will do it right- Mini King, Mini Classic, Mini Car Clinic (now called Minispares Aust I think) |

Yeah i know gafmo, mini king is 2 minutes down the road, Has anyone had there gearboxes built there? Also just another question, Has anyone used 1.08:1 Drop gears, Over 1:1? What is the difference, And how does this affect your gear ratios??? |

I know of one award winning mini owner who wouldn't go anywhere else but Mini King for his gearbox rebuild. |
