fairly typical wear pattern that I find on strip down of a road engine equipped with 1.5:1 ratio rockers. Typically mileages from 10,000 to 50,000 depending on use and oil changes etc.

I had a VP3 Camtech cam that looked like that after 45,000 miles with 1.5 rockers. Valve lift on 2 valves dropped from .470" to .270". But many other lobes were still fine, go figure... :?
I reckon it was a combination of the oil I was running, the pointy VP3 lobes, and the cam hardness or lack thereof.
RE13 cam lobes have a nice big nose radius, from what I've seen they don't wear much, 1.5 rockers or not.
