I know its not exactly for a Mini, but I need some urgent help...

Has anyone converted a Morris Minor from an externally regulated alternator to internally?

I need to know what wires are which coming out of the internal regulator... the only one's coming off anywhere but the alternator are a black with white tracer and white with red tracer...

I think one will be for ignition and the other for battery, but I have no idea..

Cheers,
Sam

I dunno if this helps. I fitted a Bosch Internally Regulated alternator to my Minor, but it was replacing the generator.

I know that only the later Mogs has alternators fitted as stock, but you'd be looking at a Nissan unit, right?
