Post subject: | VH44 Booster - Mini Flexi Hoses? |
Hi, Does anyone know if standard Mini flexi hoses from the rear or front end will thread straight into a VH44 booster and seat without problems? I want to fit a VH44 to the Moke and use flexi hoses, so I can swing the booster up on the guard in the future if it gets in the way of working on the engine. With flexi hoses I wont have to bleed the brakes or worry about dripping fluid on the bodywork. I don't have any Mini hoses at hand to try, want to check they will fit before I order some. Alternatively, any suggestions on what flexi hoses others have used with a VH44(Holden, Ford whatever?) Thanks, |

I wouldn't reccommend hoses on a booster, but that said they should fit and seat correctly. I'd use braided hoses, though questions could be raised over the legalities of it. Braided hoses should be a bit better if its going to be moved around, and should have less loss of pedal feel due to expansion. EDIT: just realised it won't work without installing swivel fittings. |
