Post subject:  seat problems?

does anyone forsee problems for me getting the mini registered with these seats? you can sort of see thwe brackets we made down the bottom
will i need a blue plate or will the roadworthy guy just look at them? if i need to get a blue plate is it expensive?

well in good old WA you need the engineering department of licencing approval to put seats like that in.. but that doesnt involve an engineers approval (certificate).. basically just some paperwork and a $30 fee + inspection fee. then the inspector will give em a wobble and make sure they're bolted in.. and away you go

engineering approval is more of a Yes, those seats meet ADR requiements (are on runners basically) and a permit to show the cops if they question you
