it might not.. you might have paid too much for your clubman seriously though.. big bore turbo mini engines cost the earth unless you find a clapped out second hand one.. but then the rebuild will cost the earth.,.. a t25 would be wayy too big for the engine.. lllllllaaaaaaagggggg |

standard metro turbos were T3.a T25 woould be good for more mid to high end power,a T2 would be very responsice on a mini, easy to find to,just hit the pulsar sites ![]() use kazjim as an example,he hasnt gone crazy on it,just made it strong, and its up in the 80HP part of town... try do most of the work yourself and it will be cheap as you make it ![]() i would suggest you buy another motor, and stick it on the bench and just work away at it minivan-try not the shoot him down, and try not to take shots at clubmans ![]() |

it will prob get hot where ever you put it,if you were going to make your own manifold,id hang it over the clutch cover.. so now it wont cost much for the turbo or manifold exhaust and pipe work will be your biggest problem now ![]() |

just trying to make a lil joke forgot you clubman guys are insecure about that the most expensive bit of what your aiming at is the big block engine.. not the turbo.. custom manifolds are expensive if you dont know anyone (start thinkin top end of a three didgit figure because theyre fidly and take time.. not because theyre difficult to make) turbo minis mean custom... custom means $$.. if your handy with an angle grinder and welder.. you could do the whole thing bloody cheap.. or if you have big wads of cash.. you could have someone else do all the work for you thats alllll that i'm saying |

i like making things so the manifold would be my own custom creation the engine would probally be a metro motor with some nice pistons and a bit of head work and the inlet im not sure thats why i needed some ideas but probaly use the metro turbo one i like all minis ![]() ![]() |

go out and buy some rooted old extractors first up,most mini places will have heaps pout the back, will prob cost you $20,then you have your exhaust flanges,so ya dont need to make them no more, cool. then cut em up so you have come 90* bends, and start placing em together to get the sorta thing you want,go get some better pipe, cut and weld it and your away.. id bolt the set up on your 998 with little boost as have some fun with it... kazjim. 90 HP at the wheels.i hope you have a Dr mini special gear box ![]() thinking of going for a drive over to sydney next time you guys have a track/dyno day or one of your famouse garage clean outs ![]() |
