I'd say around 8:1 to 8.5:1 maybe 9:1 if the engine is built to handle the pressure :? .

should work on stock compression, avoid a decomp plate if you can.
do a bit of a search in this section and you'll find plenty of info.

thanks will do,

what a disadvantages of a d/c plate?

would i be better off taking some meat from the compbustion chambers?

the d/c plate increases the chance you wont get a good seal on the head or the gasket, and it will increase the chance of blowing the gasket.

I havent had any issues with mine but i have seen/heard of others having issues.

take your cc's out of the chambers or the pistons if you can.

with only a modest 7psi you may not need to take much or any depending on how much your block/head has been decked.

my engine is running 8:1 but with 11-12psi
