Can you do it if you do the carb in a pressurized box trick? |

Carby needs to be sealed & of course the plenum... Suck through is really the only way with a standard carburettor. |

The turbo carbs had an o-ring to seal the dashpot and seals 'round the throttle shaft to stop letting air out. And a connection from the manifold side of the carb to the float (to equal pressure, making the carb work normal). Doesn't sound too hard to recreate, does it? ![]() http://666kb.com/i/bg0gu12ilng4lupzj.jpg |

Don't you need a float that won't crush under pressure as well? (i.e. not hollow) Not tried it mind, just what I've read. Madmorrie |

I remember discussions years ago on a message bored about converting a standard HIF to Turbo setup, just cannot remember most of the details.... The shaft seals are the std ones put on the shaft backwards to stop air escaping rather than stopping air being sucked in Edit! - here you go - NA SU blow through setup cheers Kevin |
