Post subject:  Oil Filter Sandwich Plate

Hi,

I am trying to find a thermostatic oil filter sandwich plate for the spin on filter but I don't have one here to measure, so does anyone know the thread size/type and the O ring diameters for the spin on filter?
Or alternatively, has anyone bought one of these and can point me in the direction of a supplier?

Also, does anyone know the thread size/type of the banjo bolt fitting in the block that runs to the filter housing? I want to replace this with a flexible hose, so I just need to know what fittings I need to order.

Cheers,
Alex

Can't help you on the filter sandwich plate.

The banjo bolt thread in the block though is 5/8-18 UNF.
Karcraft sells the proper fitting to go to 1/2 BSP oil hose (Cooper S etc).
Or, you can make them from a brass 1/2BSP x 3/8BSP brass nipple (Bunnings sell them cheap)= just machine the 3/8BSP end down to 0.625" diameter and run a 5/8 UNF die nut down it in a lathe.
