I was told the build sheet was wrong, actual needles fitted were CP4. But they go better with #6. 8)
Graham if you want CP4s I have a couple.

Mine has CP4's!

We have a winner!

They do seem very rich up top

No 6 was one of the ones I was comparing to, and 3's or 4's

BG's are even richer!

Thanks Doc...... :P

What filters are you using- if they are the Lynx Ramflos with the Lynx foam, I would put Unifilter foam pads (LNX300) in them. Less flow restriction..

(Picture 'borrowed' from Mick! :P )

I'm doing a bit of maintenance, might take the head off and clean up valves etc. Treat it to a new BK450 etc.

Want to be sure it makes it to Wakefield!

6's were pretty good in mine, but still not right, I was tempted to go leaner... I reckon todays fuels work differently to the old fuels, so old needle recommendations are wrong

The initial specification for the MK II S said CP4 needles with Blue springs. This specification was created by SU Carburettor Company specifically for this application. When the Clubman GT specification came out it changed to BG needles, still with Blue springs.
