Hey Question regarding bang for buck brake kits The KAD big brake kit plus pads comes to 971.46 British pounds ($1598.60) What does Wilwood / Tarox offer to fit in under 13" rims? Who is the brake guru? talk to me.. josh |

josh you could go swift brakes or cino brake kit with booster for a lot less. if it has to be KAd mini ones then great bit these other conversions fit under 12's or 13' and pull up hard. Gtitec sells them. |

They bolt up to mini uprights too, less stuffing about is there a 4 pot equivalent in say ap, wilwood etc that would do close to the same thing as the 6 pots, with a cheaper price tag? |

I have two sets of KAD brake setups, one is a 7.9" vented 4 pot setup on my Starlet conversion the first time i took the car to a race track the brakes cooked the fluid and afterwards the calipers started leaking. The aluminium pistons tranfered too much heat from the pad to the fluid. I have now changed to stainless pistons and have had no further problems. The other setup is a 8.4" vented setup on my race car, never had any problems with them at all. These still have aluminium pistons. The good thing with KAD 4 pots is that they use easy to get parts like pisons, seal and pads because they are the same as metro turbo brakes. |

Great, this is just the kind of thing that is worth knowing. So the KAD 4 pots are just a lighter copy of the metro brakes? |
