Just putting together a 1150 hillclimb engine, just wondering what the hot sh*t VRS head gasket set is? copper, monotorque etc? and best place to buy (online easiest).

Cheers,
Jeff

This is one subject where you really don't want to use the search function.

ACL Monotorque CP250MT is the go.
It's the only one that seems to hold up for people here that run a turbo or S/C on smallbores.
But retorque it when hot, and again after 1000 miles. Don't believe the `monotorque' BS.

I wonder how much they sell for locally? It is a Monotorque made in Australia by ACL. The same one that Dr Mini recommended in the earlier post.

AP250MT is the gasket.
CP250MT is the VRS set.
FP250MT is the full gasket set.

+1 for the monotorque, I used to be a big proponent of the copper ones, but the monotorque ones have been heaps better :)

cheers,
