Post subject:  New Booster Mounting

Hi guys, got a cooper booster a while ago and now im trying to mount it.

Does it matter where the booster is actually mounted as long as it has vac, line from the mater cyl and line back to the splitter?

Also on the booster, which is in and out?
In at the drum and out at the tip?

AND is there any specific way of bleeding the new line through the booster or just like normal?

Thanks :D

Boosters can be mounted nearly anywhere (I've seen some under the dash) but remember that longer runs and a lower booster may be trickier to bleed.

The servo (drum thing) end connects to the master cylinder.

The pointy end should be tilted up a bit to facilitate bleeding (this more important with the old Lockheed ones though).

Appart from the engine bay being completly ugly anyway i think it fits rather well :)

Just need new lines and a bleed.

What size fittings do i need to get? And will the fittings work with some trailer brake line i have?
