Post subject:  Hours

Yeah on a good weekend I do a fair amount all up I say between 10 and 12 hours a week sometimes. Overall maybe over 500 in the 10 months so far. But alot of that hasn't been directly on the engine conversion (eg rust repairs in the boot) etc.

Where did you get the mounts from? custom or does someone actually make them?

Sabre, the bracket in the bottom picture comes with the engine, but I still had to obviously make a mount for it to bolt to. The others I made :)

:D Nice work mate!! i wish i had have chosen the starlet route first off.. lemme know if you wanna swap when your done 8)

Yeah 998 a 2.5" turbo back (mandrel bent until the cat and then press bend for the rest). As for the cannon have me eyes on twin exhaust type. You know a side by side affair centre exit. Also 998 don't lament you decision too much given the extra level of effort at least yours is on the road! And hey how about the next one!!  :D

Awd, mate doing a subaru 4wd driveline conversion isn't exactly straightforward (prob more complex than what I am doing given 4wd), so don't stress and remember it aint a race. And Dan below is a picture, if you want more have a look at my website there are plenty there. As for completion date (ie turnkey) possibly as short as 2 months from now!

Mr Bob, speaking of lists, I wrote out a list of the things I would have to do and how long each step would take (work is paying me to do a project mgt course!). I am up to step 188 of 233!
