Post subject:  engine machining in SE QLD

Dose anyone know of a good engine machinist in SE QLD? I'm based on the Sunny coast so I don't really want to send it away to someone 1000km away.
I need a 1275 block (just under 1360) bored/re-honed to suit my new +0.094 thou pistons. I also need the crank journals machined and balance everything from the harmonic balancer to the clutch.
Any suggestions?

I have already been given Chilton Engineering's (in Woolloongabba) contact details but have not yet been able to make contact.

My mate used to work at Mendham engineering in rocklea. They used to do some pretty cool work when he was there . Like balancing new V12 Lambo race boat cranks. Worth a crazy amount.

My mate runs a business working on cars and he sends all engine machining work to Chilterns.

we use a number of people/companies to do various engine reco machining for us,,, 2 of these would be Wynnum engine reconditioning & the other is Cooparoo Engine reco

both very good & we have trained them over the years with what we need them to do for our mini engines :-)

Chilton Engineering Deshon St Woolloongabba. He is a mini enthusiast. Wouldn't trust anyone else. Didn't need any teaching.
