this is a nice piece of kit,
i have a HSR45 , untested so far, it will go in my new engine ( who knows when

)!
What i can say about it:
- Looks great

- It is very compact... no clearance issues , even with GR long SU Manifold
- no shafts to wear, no butterfly , nothing in the air stream .
- easy to mount with a rubber flange
- There are K&N round filters for them, and it's easy to adapt those "mushroom" style filters also.
- inlet has a nice radius, no need for stacks/ram pipes
- needle has height adjustment ( there are only 3 or 4 available needles ), and there is a variety of main jet sizes
- has accelerator pump, adjustable
- the accelerator pump mechanism/arm is fragile ( found out the worst way, received the carb with broken arm , probably during custom control, manage to alloy weld it ok )
- easy to set up a long choke cable using existing knob
- stock they come with a #4.3 needle valve, used for gravity fed , seems you can run it with that valve and a fuel pressure regulator at ~1.5 psi. Else you can buy a #2.3 needle valve . As far as i know this is the only difference the ones from the V Performance site have. And the rubber mounting flange, which you can get for 30/40 USD .
After reading some topics on other forums, i end up by not buying from that website, got it from EBAY US, for 200$ , new ( Ok it was listed as being the 42mm one ).
would love to have feedback from someone running them on a mini!:)
