Hi all
Has anyone attempted to put electric windows in their minis or know how too??
I have a dilemma that i may mean i have to install electric windows or relocate the winders.

Im using the swift dash setup in my car and the dash is fouling the winder!
any ideas

thanks

I think it can be done. I had some spare doors here I was going to convert to
single piece glass, electric windows and central locking, however my focus is currently
elsewhere. All you need is the slowest, most powerful motor you can find,
prefferably slim enough to go in the door.
If you have a rover, there are kits available.

A fella in the ACT Mini Car Club has done this successfully by adapting mechanisms obtained from a jap car wrecker ......
