Yep you have two options. The easy one is talk to Lindsay at mini's plus he can supply a tie rod end boot? to do the job, or for the original go to M Parts in the UK, look under Moke parts, transmission

Is the remote off an aus moke? Never seen one with the metal lip for the boot to go over.

You could try brake specialist, I got an old style slave cylinder boot for mine.

This boot is nla in aus i got 2 good secondhand ones from mini king (now mini kingdom online) give john a call he may still have the pallet crate of gear shifters i got mine from
