I am about to buy a k100lt head from the UK and was wondering if I should also purchase a BMW head gasket? I have been searching the forums about using this gasket, but have not come to any conclusions.
Any advise would be much appreciated.

There was a run of gaskets made her in Aus but I don't know if any are left. I got mine from Matt Reid, contact him on here or at his business in Brissy.

Thanks for reply. I am in nz, but I could try to get hold of Matt. I am going to order the head in next couple of days so I just need to confirm that the standard BMW head gasket is no good.

That's correct the BMW gasket will not work. You can modify a std mini gasket but I'd prefer to use one made for the job.
